Ted and John McGraw

Ted & John will be our MC’s again this year.  Hear them also at WRUR-FM 88.5, Sunday mornings, noon 'til 2pm.

Our first fair, 2009 ...

The expected audience, 500-600; by 5 o'clock, some 1,600 paid admissions, with people still arriving; 100-plus musicians, onstage, or jamming and solo-playing up in the woods.

This year...

Musicians from all over Upstate New York, as well as Pennsylvania and as far away as Florida, will be performing onstage, on the meadow, and up on the wooded hill at Sugarbush Hollow - all ages and levels.  All acoustic folk instruments from pennywhistle, banjo and mandolin, to the fiddle - and everything in-between - will be represented. There will be workshops in beginning fiddling, Cajun fiddling, and pennywhistle, as well as workshops for the very young (including an informal "onstage" segment at the Haywagon near the pond).  The Buffalo Suzuki Strings Fiddle Club will return to our stage for its fourth year and, with other talented young people gaining national and international reputations, give us a spectacular glimpse of our fiddling future.
